More Than a Boutique — It’s Our Family Story

 

For over 20 years, Lydia & Claire Melbourne has been more than a place to shop. It has been a little part of our lives, our family, and the Melbourne community we are so grateful to call home.

When we first opened Lydia & Claire Melbourne, we were simply two sisters with a shared love for fashion and a dream of creating a boutique that felt personal. We wanted women to walk through our doors and feel comfortable, welcome and understood. Fashion had always been something we enjoyed together, but what mattered even more was helping women find pieces they genuinely felt good wearing. What started as a small family boutique gradually became something much bigger than we ever expected. More than twenty years later, that same feeling is still at the heart of everything we do.

And we’re not ready to slow down just yet. In fact, we’re incredibly excited for what comes next, as Lydia & Claire Melbourne prepares to grow into a bigger space and begin a new chapter. After more than twenty years together, it feels very special to see the little boutique we once dreamed about continue to grow. We still love choosing beautiful pieces, meeting our customers and coming to work together every day. To everyone who has supported us, whether you have been with us for years or have only just found us: thank you. You have allowed two sisters to keep doing something they truly love, and we can’t wait to take you with us into the next chapter.
